A Year Today

Today it has been a year since Dad went to be with the Lord. I cannot believe that he has been gone that long. I still miss him very much. I miss coffee in the mornings with him and fishing trips and playing 42. I especially miss his back seat driving. I am so thankful for the precious memories that I have of times we spent together. They will be with me forever, that and the fact that I know I will see him again someday is what gets me through the lonely times. Sometimes life just does not turn out the way we have it planned but I know that God is in control and as long as we put our trust in Him we can handle what life brings our way. As the years pass by, I will never forget my Dad and I will hold on to the memories that I cherish so dear. I love you Daddy..........
